ADULT BIBLE STUDY
“Finding our Catholic faith in the Bible”
When: Every Wednesday, starting
February 12
Time: 6:45- 8:00 PM
Father Steve will be teaching this class,which will explain the Biblical basis for many of our Catholic teachings.

SUNRISE SERVICE- SOMETHING TOTALLY DIFFERENT

Yes, we will indeed be having a sunrise service this Easter morning. It will start at exactly 6:06 AM, the time that the sun rises on that day. This is something that is not for everyone. Truth be told, I am not exactly at my best at that time. Actually, I kind of am at my best then, because I am usually asleep at that time. But for this special occasion, it is worth getting up early. I have only actually been to one sunrise service, and that was during COVID. It was pretty chilly at that time, but it was absolutely beautiful to see the sun rise as we celebrated Easter morning. Add in the altar on the hill behind the
church and it makes for an even more beautiful celebration. (Granted the sound of semis driving by on the interstate does not add to the ambiance, but it will have to do). Be prepared for the fact that it might be a bit chilly but we will still have it pretty much despite what the weather is, unless it is just pouring rain. May we rejoice in the empty tomb, in much the same way that the apostles did.
